So many options! Gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian. 3 different hot tea options. There are only a few different options that are not gluten free; just let them know your dietary restrictions and they'll do the best we can!

Hunan has consistently been a great option for us in Carbondale. They do all the basics well but also have great variety of you want to try something new. We love their orange chicken, general tso and panaang chicken curry,, and for a great appetizer we suggest their potstickers! It's a nice atmosphere and we have always had good service. Our only holdup is that you can't sub rice out for noodles with dishes, they only offer full sized portions of noodles for an additional cost. They probably have a good reason but its still a bit of a letdown since my wife doesn't eat rice. Overall, however, we thoroughly enjoy Hunan's and it holds a special place for us since it was our first date dinner!

We went in for a late lunch. We are not from the area and it was recommended by our VRBO host. He wasn't wrong. Food was wonderful, our waitress was very friendly and tended to us like we were the only ones in the restaurant (and they were busy!)

Tonight we dined in for the first time and it was awesome! Wonderful experience, we will never be to-go-fools who miss out on the ambiance and cocktails again. Planters Punch, Crab Rangoon served in a boat, General Taos Chicken, pork fried lo mein: all fantastic, hot and fresh

This place is so good. We were visiting SIU and decided to try this place out. Evan was out waiter, he was very attentive and friendly. The hot and sour soup was great, nice and thick, not watery. We also had the general tso's chicken ( I like it a bit crispier but was still good), and the orange beef was amazing. If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely come again. I may try and come before we leave tomorrow.

This place has been one of our favorite restaurants for many years. High quality food at great prices. I and my friend tried the chicken coconut curry (panang chicken) with vegetables and kung bao chicken. The taste was great and awesome. We were visiting this place after few years and the taste hasn't faded. I went two days consecutively with my guests. Nice atmosphere and wonderful service. We also tried the salt and pepper calamari, it was quite tasty and delicious. It's one of the best place in Carbondale.

It's a very cozy, very clean, neat restaurant perfectly styled in Chinese styleThe service was excellent. The prices are reasonable, very reasonable. They serve food of different Chinese cuisine traditions, and some Thai and Indian food. It was probably the best Chinese food I have ever tried. Coming back for sure. P.S. pay attention to section Vegetables if you're vegetarian: not all the dishes there are actually vegetarian, but just vegetable based.
